01VWGREENMACHINE Posted November 3, 2011 Report Share Posted November 3, 2011 alright i have plenty of room in my 01 gti for a double din problem is a double din with all the features i need or i feel i need the hu is like 1200 bucs or more. but the major issue is 90% of the double din hu's only have 2 or 2.5 volt preouts and they only have a front and a rear or sub i want 4 volt or higher and i want front rear and sub pre outs is there options out there that will help me reach my goal without spending 1500 bucs??? Do you plan to split the signal a shit load of times? Are your amps capable of 4 volts or higher? Just curious what people's different reasons for wanting higher voltage outputs.....the sq benefit seems pretty negligible at best unless you are running super high end gear.
