Sealed box question

When it comes to a sub in a sealed box will more air space or less airspace help you hit lower notes or does it matter?

I am far from a professional compared to most ppl on here but I would think that if the box is built somewhat bigger than the suggested volume the lows will be better than if it was smaller than suggested.

you want a sealed box if your sub has a QTS value of over .60

I'd use a design program, like WINisd or Bassbox PRO if you want to figure out how much airspace you would need. The bigger the box you have, the lower the -3dB point will be, but it will also have more of a delay. Those free programs will give you an ideal spec for what you'd need, not to mention both of them are free.
