AmericanLegend
Here is an enclosure I built for a buddy of mine. It is for 2 cheap 12 inch Q Power subwoofers that look suspsciously like the kicker comps. The box is 2.0cf per sub tuned to 28hz. The port is 8x8 inches for a total of 64 square inches of port. It is surprisingly efficient and plays pretty low: The port prior to assembly Portage Notice the baffle brace built into the port Pre hole cut Not bad for 2 28 dollar subwoofers lol! SkylarDunn
Port needs a flare. hit it with a 3/4" roundover bit one time, will take about 3/8" off of the total length of the port but will unload alot better, because it wont be chuffing. you ALWAYS need a flare. Might take your port design for my next box build x) Quote Getting bass into the cabin of a W124 mercedes is impossible. Current setup: Temp 1999 panasonic HU rockford 300.2 for fronts rockford 200.2 for rears rockford 400.1 for sub Leaning towards a 8" in an exponential horn DAMN YOU GERMANS AND YOUR 5" SPEAKERS! RAM_Designs
Just curious, but why didn't you do a normal slot port?
