notorious97200 Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 You don't need to run more rms to those subs. Don't do that. Just build the right box for them, and you will be very happy. What amp ? It depends on the VC config you choose. black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a sealed box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
getlocivic Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 most subs will handle 200 to 400 more watts rms than rated for..if u have clean NON clipped power and the right enclosure.. some subs can handle wayyy over rms if u build burp boxes etc etc etc i would have some1 design you a efficient box and stick with the rated rms wattage or slightly over
