Audiobahnaholic
I'm getting ready to do a door speaker install on a guy's Chevy Silverado. I've got everything I need except one answer. Which wires are positive to the speakers and which are negative. I haven't looked to see the colors yet but, when I pop the stock speaker out and unplug it which wire do I run to the positive of the aftermarket and which to the negative? joey2714
easy way to test. take any 1.5 volt battery(A,AA,AAA,C,D,etc.. NOT 9 volt) and attach a speaker wire to each end, at the "terminals". Then touch those speaker wires to thepositive and negative inputs on the speaker, or clip. If the speaker moves out, like away from the magnet, then you have positive speaker terminal touching positive battery terminal. If not its backwards. The just look at which terminal plugs into what wire on the factory clip. Hope that helps! -Joey play Moola.com its actually fun and free... click here to join Money games! its just games with free money!
