20FORD00 Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 I want to put a blowthrough in my 2000 F150 single cab and I'm open for all suggestions! I've never really messed with any audio stuff i have subs but nothing extreme...I'm thinking 2 12's and 2 15's but i don't know if you can even do that..also I was wandering on amps, alts, batts, well just everything to do a complete CUSTOM build! if yall could just give me any suggestions im always needing them!

I've never really done a custom build..so I am not real sure on anything I've been reading lots of stuff on here getting ideas and if it were your vehicle what would you put in it? Also what are good component sets?
Sanitarium Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 you have a lot to learn. hang out and read through build logs and stuff. don't mix subs, and don't squeeze more subs in then you truely have space for. a choked 18 isn't as good as a 15 in proper airspace.
D-train-13k Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 i also have a 2000 f150 but mine is an extended cab. i dont have to time really add much here but if you have questions feel free to pm me. ive had it down to just sheet metal so i pretty much know the ins and outs of this truck. i also recomend reading up on the suggestions people give you on this site. so you can make your own educated decisions. many people are going to try to shove DC and sundown down your throat. they are great subs and both companies are awesome. but there is alot of other stuff out there. so just take that into account. as well doing your electrical is definitely not something you want to skimp out on so i would focus alot of attention there. goodluck! Hitman813 Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 4 hdc3 15s runnin off a stetsom 7k2e-1 with the proper electrical but thats just my preference on gear but theres lots of good brands out there like AudioQ, Stetsom, Sundown, DC, Ascendant Audio, Skar, SounDigital, Crescendo, Rockford Fosgate the list just goes on man best thing u can do is stick around do some research and ask some questions but u gotta remember if u plan on runnin alot of power be prepared to drop a decent ammount of cash on electrical upgrades like alts batteries wire

I will look into that, I want a loud system and i want it to be good, so I'm expecting to drop some money into the electrical!
