PaCiFiKbAllA
I am now a proud owner of a DD 9512h subwoofer! This thing is friggin' HEAVY! Heaviest sub I have owned....my question is this. My box is custom made (4.6 cu/ft w/ (2) 6" aero ports @ 35hz) and is made of 3/4" mdf. Being that this subwoofer is so heavy, do you guys think I would have a problem installing it in this box? Would I need some sort of additional bracing or re-inforcement of some kind? Or do you think I will be ok? Any suggestions on this would be appreciated. Oh yeah, btw, I will be running this BEAST with my newly aquired DD M3a! Thanks guys! 1 x Fi Audio SP4 V2 12" D2 Fully Loaded 1 x Wolfram W-4500.1 2 x XS Power D5100's 250A Singer Alternator 2.67 Cubes @ 29hz
Katt
Definitely reinforce with some wooden dowels. Bracing should help quiet a bit. If you don't, Id bet you will have baffle flex. And that could lead to other things. *06 330i - Sundern x12 - saz-3500* *91 Foxbody V1 S-Trim Notch*
PaCiFiKbAllA
This would be my first time doing something like that, so can someone explain exactly where these would go? I'm asuming I would put 4 pieces in a square shape INSIDE the cutout? Any more help would be appreciated...and thanks for the quick reply. 1 x Fi Audio SP4 V2 12" D2 Fully Loaded 1 x Wolfram W-4500.1 2 x XS Power D5100's 250A Singer Alternator 2.67 Cubes @ 29hz
