extended cab sub box help

i have a 2011 chevy silvarado extended cab and wonna do a sub setup under the back seat. I have about 1.42 gross my main question is do i do sub up port to the side or two downfire sealed or somthing different id rather not fire the subs foward but if its the best way i will. Any input would be great if i do the downfire sealed it will be .71 perside so probbly do 10s if i do one sub up ported it will probbly be a 12 unless you guys think i should do somthing different will be doing about a 1k watt single sub or two 500 watt dual subs let me know any input or possiblites thanks!

ps also had somone tell me that three 8s in a downfire box sealed with all 3 subs on one side any input on that would be good also

3 8"s ported subs forward port to side

I've seen a four door with four dd 8's ported to the sides. A local shop built the box. It sounded great.

Sundown sa-8s if you have 1.4 cubes after displacement .7 per sub would be great and theyre awesome monster 8s. I put 2 in a friends ext cab chevy subs forward port driver side with .8 cubes each on a kicker 1000 they sound great
