JesseyMclame
Well I'm going to do an install on a buddy of mine's 92 corolla. He wants some subs, and I recommended some entry level 10s to start out with. Kicker comp, fosgate p1s, cheap stuff. He told me a buddy of his is selling two audiobahn 12' "special edition" woofers, for 100 bucks. I'm not sure if that's good or not ? I've never really heard good things from audiobahn. Anyone have info? Good deal? Any input on what would be good for around the 100 - 120 dollar price range ? All input is appreciated, thank you. (: ! JesseyMclame
Whats the budget? Well as far as sub goes, 100 to 120. I have an amp I'm going to give him that puts out a solid 500 watts. Quote Current setup in my 96 Hoe Hu - Pioneer DEH-80prs. I would save more money to buy some good quality subs and buy a quality amp aswell. Just my 2 cents. JesseyMclame
I'm also going to build him a sealed box. So something that sounds good, like two 10s, a 12, a good 10, any reccomendations. Unless those audiobahns are a good catch ? Quote Current setup in my 96 Hoe Hu - Pioneer DEH-80prs. rubbernutz1
those audibahns are more or less a entry level sub i had a pair of the 15"S. werent the loudest things in the world but they got it done for what they were. if theyr in good shape not, bad for $100 and on a 500 watt amp. if its his 1st system itl git him off
NickJones
Well If you give him that amp I would think that would be a great starter system for $100. Honestly if he doesnt know about this stuff, he wont know the difference anyways, and he should be thankful for you just helping him out in the first place. I mean I'm doin it all for free, but like, I wouldn't ever tell someone to get something or use something that I wouldn't ever put in my car ya know ? So I'm just trying to see what the best I can do with his money is. Quote Current setup in my 96 Hoe Hu - Pioneer DEH-80prs. Miguels
you can get a pair of 12' kickers with $120. i would go with new and not used since you dont know what the other owner has done with the woofers or if they are burnt out Quote my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
