On the way out I saw a nice ass older chevy truck that was bagged, whole redone interior w/ fiberglass and color fabric, and a sweet sealed/wall/4th order setup (honestly dk)with 4 oldschool audiobahns and a kicker kx1200.1.Not to crazy by todays standards but im sure it was def. up there 10 yrs ago. Whole truck was for sale but i thought why not give a shot in the dark and see if he'll sell the amp since im in the market. aaaaany way went to meet up with the guy. he wasnt there but i was talking to one of his employees. (its an automotive/machining shop). get into convo bout the truck and seems hes pretty knowledgeable about car audio. getting deeper into convo I seriously have to try my hardest not to bust out laughing at this guy. Says how his loudest system was 2 pioneers running off of a basik (??) 2400 watt amp and how even tho he was pushing twice the rated power, he was able to pull a 170 off em!!!! Also proceeded to explain to me how i dont need a better battery i just need a HUGE capacitor and how if i run 0ga vs. 4ga i run into fire hazards and im gonna fry all my shitz just have never seen/met someone in person b4 who has been so confident that he knew how to do it the 'right' way :noob: :noob: anyone know the world record? isnt it like low 80's?
