What do you mean, what ohm load?

It would all depend on the subs i choose, their coil configuration, and the amplifier minimum impedance

Agreed 4 SA-10s would slam on 2k RMS.

But, way out of budget lol Thats like $750 for just the subs.

I wish it was in my budget but its not right now.

I dont have a goal for numbers or anything, its just for a daily system

so i assumed you'd be using those woofers. hence why i asked what ohm load are you going to wire them to. and yes, i know that it depends on those factors. ive only been here for 5 years...

Well I am considering using those subs if anyone cant suggest anything better.

For the price of the subs, I think they seem alright.

And I know youve been here for years. Well they are dual 2 ohm subs so then I would be wiring them to 1 ohm.

check out skar audio V V X series. they have 8" 10" 12" and 15".... they have good daily driver subs and if i remember correctly he makes boxes for them too ...... best bang for your buck on a budget i think..... and kevin is a great guy to work with.

Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit. If I had a whole Hertz front stage my ears would jizz all over my cheeks.

My Low Budget Build:

Green 1995 Subaru Legacy wagon 147k- $1K

headunit- pioneer premier deh-p650-$25

4 Lead acid batts. 1 up front and 3 in back- vented outside.- $50

4 vvme L11 10"s <- $30 shipped a piece

6 cu. ft box (after displacment) tuned to 32ish hz with 10 inch sonotube. -about $50 all together maybe a lil more

2 aspm 1300 strapped

Selenium 6"s in the front doors on headunit power- for now -$20

quantum tweets in door-for now -$10

boston acoustic 5 1/4 in rear doors- for now-Free

big 3

1/0 and 4awg throughout.

roof sound deadened (not peel n seal ftw)-free

on 80 amp alt (bench tested to put out 100 amps faithfully) <--?-$10 for test

about $430 for everything<----Not bad at all

still gotta add 3 way crossover, amp for front and rear door speakers and maybe eq

How about running 4 Alpine Type R 10's and Hifonics hfi2000d?? that would be a pretty sweet setup in your range!! :shrug:
