i know some people dont fuse the charging wire but its best, if you happen to have a short you wouldn't want to mess up a $500+ alternator. 300 amp sounds good thanks Ricky

Alt to batt? You don't need a fuse.

Yes you do. Use a fuse that matches your alt. 100amp alt uses a 100amp fuse....etc.

Its recommended, but not needed. I don't have mine fused, used a stock 115A, stock 160A, and a 300A H/O alt. Never any problems with 1/0 OFC
