focalrock4life
I just plugged mine in for the first time today and the charging light turned orange (means its charging), then literally 1 minute later the light was green. Is that normal? there's no way my batteries are in that good of shape after the use they get. I just want to make sure the chargers not bad or my batteries are not bad. so I left it on the charger for a few hours and when I turned the car to ACC (just battery power) to see what they were resting at(stinger volt meter), it was at 13.1 then a fews seconds later 13.0 then 12.9. do I have a bad cell? audiofanaticz
A good AGM battery should be in the voltage range of 12.6 to 13.1 volts when fully charged. So Im sure your batteries are fully charged. If you had a bad cell your battery would be in the low to high 10s (10.0-10.9volts ruffly). Each cell on most AGM batteries are 2.0-2.3 volts each depending on how you maintain the battery.
focalrock4life
oh okay. good to know. I Just haven't charged them in a year of use so when it said it was charged one minute later, I was worried I did something wrong. LOL I guess XS Power is just beast. Thanks! Nathan @ XSpower
Batteries sound like they are fine. You can always keep the batteries hooked up to the charger after the light goes to green. This will top them off with a good low amperage charge.
