meade916 Posted November 25, 2011 Author Report Share Posted November 25, 2011 I still haven't changed my EQ from flat after setting all my gains and H/U and I want to say it again, my car sounds better than it EVER has before. I simply cannot believe how much of a difference setting gains correctly can make! Have no fears spending your money on this little device! you shouldnt need to thats the thing with an EQ, after you set your system up properly (gains etc), you really shouldnt even need to adjust the frequencies much higher at all. A little adjustment here and there is no big deal but really, with a proper system, you should never have to "peg" any of the frequencies. I dont like to raise any frequency higher then 3db above zero. Same for cutting them. The reason your system sounds so good is because i hate to say it, but it was never set up correctly to begin with No offense, i was in the same boat before i learned how to use an o-scope. Im like damn, how long have i been guestimating it??? lol! thanks again for the feedback, we love hearing all the success stories.
