andym85
reinke length of wood for the first peice of port is 10.25"long and the second piece is 3 3/8" long...port area seems kinda small but they only recommended about 5sq" for a box that was 1.79 cubes net....these may sound better sealed if you wanna go sealed then... 15"h x 27"w x 12.25"d with net you 2.046 or 1.023/sub, which is exactly what they recommend... i likes me some audio stuff... cartunez2004
alright...i finally got like 8 of them done... Cartunez this took me awhile to get right. now each port plug is 28.5"wide x 7.5"high. one of them has an opening 18"wide x 4"high and is 17"long. with this port you have 6.89cubes net (3.45cubes/sub), 72sq" of port area (10.44sq"/cube...which seems small to me, but SS doesnt recommend a lot of port area), and is tuned to 35.81hz the second port plug, like i said, is also 28.5"wide x 7.5"high. this one has an opening of 25"wide x 4"high and is 8"long. with this port you have 7.27cubes net (3.64/sub), 100sq" of port area (13.75sq"/cube), and is tuned to 47.75hz...im not real sure what would be the best tuning for spl for your vehicle since that is very dependent on a lot of things and would take some testing to find out...but i figuured 48ish hz was a good enough start... the opening on the box is 26.75"wide x 5.75"high....i have you 1/8"gap all the way around for the larger port plug just in case your cuts arent perfect... thanks bro i have no idea what alot of that means lol im not a box builder just and installer lol but thanks ill see what my boy can do wit this thanks bro new toy 97 chevy s10 ext cab bagged 22s system (coming soon ) 4 soundstream t4-15s walled 2 concept 2410 mono amps REFS http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=cartunez2004 http://caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t...ht=LOUDCARTUNEZ

andym85
u tell me...the easiest and most logical way would be the same dimensions but just change the height. however, there are usuall obstructions along the way, such as doors/windows/wheel wells/etc....that can cuase things to get kinda intricate...ur just gonna have to take a look at it. a lot of times, a wall is kinda build as you go, on a whim type of deal.... i likes me some audio stuff...
