HUMBOLDT_knock
Ya I understand about the turbulance. I too thought that Orion only showed plans for a sealed box however after recieving the speaker and book for it I discovered that they do have plans for a ported box and I don't remember what size it was I wanna say that it was 2.7cf (before displacement) with a single 4 inch round port , or something close to that. And actually the Qts is .37 on my peticular sub which is the 12.4 model. So maybe this will change things quite a bit. I have found lots of info about the Thiele/small Parameters and what they mean and how to do the equations to figure out how the driver wants to perform so I will educate myself so I can do this on my own later on down the road but I really appreciate all your help and knowledge. Hey I just checked and the box dimensions they showed ended up being 1.96cf for a ported 12 before displacement
