100a alt

Recommended Posts

On a stock alternator 750 RMS with that XS Power battery should be fine. I've got 1700RMS on my stock alternator atm.. 90-100 amps. I don't have any issues unless I'm idling a lot while playing songs for extended periods of time.

I'd say go for it and check what your voltage drop is and go from there.

P.S. What vehicle is it and what amp?

Do the big 3, and run the biggest battery up front that you can fit, and you should be fine. Make sure you get a digital voltage gauge to monitor your voltage.
