The parts about "Show Them Proof" and "Yes Boss" are escpecially true. The best advice I can give you is to get a raise you have to make yourself more valuable. You do this by not only doing what is required but by going above and beyond. If you only do the bare minimum then expect a bare minimum wage. Next you need to make sure your boss knows your value. Show them proof that your good at what you do. This can be done in many ways, from side guestures to little comments. Don't be afraid to talk to you boss. Ask them what they think of you and how you do your job. Ask them how they think you can do better. Remember that the only right way is the Boss's way. Right or wrong, they're the boss and its their opinion of you that counts.

I didnt read the thing, but I just got a raise last thursday. I get a buck more now

And exceeding your work is a huge part of getting a raise. I ran the f**k out of any machine I was on casting more parts then 1st and 3rd shifts.
