Retro fitting protector head lights

Is this kit easy to install like Steve did on his tahoe? Shave little pieces on housing and put the projector part In the hole? Or would there be more work then that? It says 9006/9005 Mountong/alignment Projector bases, does that pretty much mean what Steve did?

Unless you've modded headlight housings before, I'd suggest leaving it to a pro, but that's me (and I've taken my housings apart to black them out). Having a nice clean set of housing which have a proper adjustable aim and level, even projectors are difficult.

Glad you're looking at projectors, though. People with HID kits in reflector-based housings should be caned for blinding the rest of us. There's a reason no OEM setups use this method anymore (and only a couple ever tried)

what if I get a car that I can just buy projector headlights for instead of retrofitting. Would inspection still complain? if so I'll just put the old headlights in when its time for inspection.(every 2 years)
