  1. i can but unless the wire for charging the gps in ran through the back of the dash and wired into a cig lighter somewhere then the wires would be over the hu the entire time
  2. i heard about thatm but it also would involve spending money, that of which i dont have lol, i want to but since i already have the gps and everything i really wanted to do this just because i hate mounting the sticky thing on the windshield and making it look like shit
  3. i couldnt take a picture since im in college atm but a drew a pic, lemme upload it because even though that was a good idea, it wont work
  4. Ive finally gotten around to removing the old cd player that came in my vw from the factory. ive replaced the hu awhile ago but in the model i have there wqas a seperate cd player. Only bad thing is if i remove it, if i want to buy the cubbie for it, they're like $80, and that's pointless. So i was thinking, maybe i could make a single din mount for my garmin. good idea but i dont know exactly what would be the best solution. the GPS is taller that the space so i cant do anything flush, and i also have no way of actually securing whatever face plate i end up making for this. Any ideas/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
  5. i have another solution for you, buy as much as you can, use what you need and then send the rest to me
  6. i may have found one of the best websites and i would like to share it with all of you. http://procatinator.com/ i hope you enjoy it as much as I have
  7. unless theyre dot approved theyre probably illegal, technially even modifying stock lights is illegal, i saw that somewhere but i highly doubt anyone will say anything. what kind of car do you have?
  8. that has an option for what country youre in so seems better to me. like im pretty sure ill never get any shit for my lights because if anything they are less blinding that dot headlights so who knows.
  9. depending on where you live, it looks like those projectors are eurospec because of the cutoff that goes at an angle. i have some on my passat and theyre good but they technicaly are illegal, so if you have a state inspection that checks thatm you might wanna be careful.
  10. well im in it for the long haul anyways, because i need to pass it so im not that much behind. just hard going over 15 chapters in the next 15 days for finals...
  11. Any advise for someone struggling in an engineering physics I class in college? i study and do hw for multiple hours nearly everyday in this class but i still have alot of problems with it... any advise?
  12. most anyone should just tune it to sound quality because if you tune it to medium or loudness, then you play a song that is recorded high than those, you will get clipping, and thats no good.
  13. works for me, still accurate and hits deep for just 12s. so thats my 2 cents
  14. well i don know the exact dimensions on how long it is but the diameter is the aero is 6in. couldn't tell you the length. my box is roughly 20ish inches deep and it goes back most of the way into it so idk.
  15. i had a box made for me by davetheboxguy and its 4 cuft total internal and a 6" aero tuned to 32hz. he told me the 1 6 would be better than the 2 4s so try for that. i trust him over alot of ppl on here.
  16. anyone wanna help me design something? i have no clue what im doing when it comes to 4th orders. As of now i have 2 dual 2 ohm type r's 12s, on an mrp-m1000. the question now is do i use these subs? buy more? sell um and get something different? i dont have alot of money to spare, welcome to college, but i wanna try to plan it out so maybe something will actually happen.
  17. what would result in the better sounding? im going for a daily driver, spl is nice but no high tuning for music. I want a good compromise of loudness and quality. As of now my box is tuned to 32 hz and I like it, its not that loud but it defiantly gets the job done, but we all know on here that the job is never done...
