snoop3111
So Im building a box for my 2 L7 12's. Its going in a 2002 Jeep Liberty so I was planning on subs up port back. My max dimensions are H22xW40xD16 with about 5 in of room between the port and back hatch. Im looking to build the box to 5.5ft^3 at 33-34Hz with about 80in^2 of port area. Im just having problems calculating my port size for the correct tuning and also finding the woofer displacement. Im planning on having the port horizontal across the bottom similar to this I would like help finding the right dimensions for the box and port. Im using Torres Calculator. SS4Luck
I have my 2 12L7s in 6ft after displacement ans they love it. I built 3 different boxes and by far this was the best one. I've got ~80^2" of port area tuned to 35.5HZ and it sounds better than my last one that was tunes to 33HZ.
