Witch 4th order would you build?

Recommended Posts

just got a box design by ram design and he tuned it at 46 hz, maybe it has to do with the range and trying to get the low lows from subs

What sub was it?

4 kicker 15L7

this is how he did mine

Hey there Miguel. Thank you for choosing RAM Designs for your enclosure design needs. Here is the detailed information for your 4x 15L7 bandpass box.

The box is going to be 3ft^3 per sealed chamber and a 12.5ft^3 common ported chamber tuned to 46hz.

ok cool oh were is it by the way just down from the old shop ?

on subject i would do .5 sealed 1.2 to 1.4 ported and try to face everything up or forward like a big build. face forward and try to keep it behind the seat in the middle . this is for your truck right ?

off subject again i have a term lab for real results but its gonna cost ya a little im no cheap ninja and fyi last week i did 149.4 at 30 hz on music befor i ripped my center sub but i glued it back together so it will pound hard again till that recones come lol i just reconed the other two

2 12ks and i dont know what to do

build in the works!

This sounds perfect to me! Most 8s don't need a lot of air space .5 will be great! Plus 8s don't normally have super low fs and I normall tune around fs!

Edit: I would tune between 40-50 hrz
