S15_Silvia
Not everyone is happy with running CPUs/GPUs at stock speeds and voltages. That's where overclocking comes in...so let's hear about/see those upped clocks and voltages! Here are mine: Back in the day... AMD 3000+ S939 @2.5GHz (1.8GHz stock) and some absurd voltage, under a Silverstone NT07 cooler Then... AMD X2 3600+ S939 @2.66GHz (2.0GHz stock) and (less) absurd voltage, same cooler as before Now... Intel E8500 S775 @4.13GHz (3.16GHz stock) and 1.252v, Xigmatek HDT S1283 bolt-thru cooler Quote 2016 Subaru BRZ | Sony XAV-AX100 | Rockford Fosgate DSM 4080 & DSM 40ix | On 6/6/2012 at 6:32 PM, 'LZTYBRN' said: 3. TinyPic makes my screen all squished >_< Just popped open Prime95 to get the CPU into Turboboost. Otherwise it sits all bored at 1600mhz and that's no good for a screenshot It'll run Prim95 for hours though with no issues. Highest it gets is around 70C (I need to re-do thermal paste) Edited December 3, 2011 by Maxim Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . S15_Silvia
You chose to leave turbo boost on? Why not run 4500MHz all the time? I could see it for power savings... Another thing- pic of the rig and cooler? Quote 2016 Subaru BRZ | Sony XAV-AX100 | Rockford Fosgate DSM 4080 & DSM 40ix | On 6/6/2012 at 6:32 PM, 'LZTYBRN' said: 3.
