Parentnoia
Is it okay (or what precautions should I take) to charge a battery indoors? I dont really want to leave the charger outside in the rain overnight, but I'm going to need to car charged in the morning. My alt kinda kicked the bucket *again*. Getting a new alt put in Tuesday, but need my ride running by then. It'll run just fine, as long I keep it moving. 1999 GMC Suburban SLTNo system planned just yet. Look at "hate" spelled backwards. It spells "e-tah." For example, if you hate me you can e-tah dick.

audiofanaticz
if its a sealed agm/gel cell you will be fine charging it inside. If its a wetcell lead acid battery I would NOT charge it indoors like nbshazeezee said. They have a tendency to discharge toxic gases when being used/charged.
