lgzmax77 Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 well i thought i would walk you through the life of this car since ive had it, and man its taken some abuse. fresh off the lot def needed some tint. 5% all around blacked out the tailights VHT nightshades now we should figure out some sounds too bad money got real tight right around here and had to sell them. only got to use 1 of those x's and it was a very nice sub. anyway, back to the business. sounds! i was going for something in the trunk cause at first i had a couple people in the back seats so i went with 1 DC level 5 12" im gonna need some extra juice for all this right? box was 3.5 cubes at 35 hz specs sent to me by rusty at DC audio too bad it wouldnt fit in the trunk, i had to put it in through the back seats

Soundstream DTR 1.3400D ran at .5 i kinda wish i used deadner so it had to come off, i actually like how it looks without it and with the antenna cut off plus i blacked out the headlights that was nice and all but i wanted to go louder, so i ripped out the back seats of course i had to get a new amp for these, the type R's were dual 4s so i had this amp wired at 2 ohms with them and clamped it at around 2700 watts
lgzmax77 Posted December 4, 2011 Author Report Posted December 4, 2011 the stock alternator just wasnt cutting it, so heres an ohio generator 270 but clamped around 320 amp alternator had 8000k HIDs replaced them with dual halo projectors time to take out the type r's i wanna run the goliath at 1 ohm and see what it can really do. got a crazy deal on these subs so and i actually ended up falling in love with them.

Keep the pics coming! thank you! doors are in the process of being built. will post more pictures as progress goes along. now that the mid and high end range are almost completed its time to focus on the sub stage. theres a couple choices in whats going to happen, number 1) 4 DC XL 15s ported tuned are 28hz, 2) (i dont think this will fit but jacob fuller at sundown audio told me to do this) 8 12" sa 12's, or 2 smd 18's dual .7s. i know the smds will go the lowest and thats what im achieving for. the sealed wall now peaks at 29hz and plays the lows down to around 25hz no problem so if you couldnt tell i like low notes. hopefully an interchangeable port on there too, but well see how everything goes. stay tuned everyone!
