Lol but yeah once in a while I've got the urge to stick my foot right where the pod is, so I put my foot behind it.

I don't think I'd have put it the way he did, actually I know I wouldn't have, but that's why his name is the way it is. But going back and looking at it, it looks like they're aimed going down the sides instead of on axis toward your head. The ones in the kicks, you may have problems with reflections, but maybe not. Just an observation, however, if you love it that's all that matters!

Thanks, I just don't know enough about audio on the SQ side to properly place my tweeters. I am learning extremely rapidly with my new job and if I get the time there will be major improvements

the newer pics look nicer aesthetically but i still wouldnt rock multiple tweeters with the thought process that it was going to make it sound better or give more volume. a tweeter plays a very small part of music. Mostly overtones. so multiple tweeters with less mids just makes a total imbalance of sound

Well in reference to that ur right. Super janky just slapping them onto panels but hey that was my first build!

Right now I'm running active on the doors and tweeters and there is a crossover for the rockfords in the kicks.

The tweeter on the door is aimed directly at ur face for max volume lol and then the kicks are aimed accross from each other

Two things.

First is, what size were your other wheels? What'd you do with them and what's your lug measurements?

Second, from what I understand, and someone can very well correct me if I'm wrong, you most of the time want everything on axis (facing you in the driver seat) and time aligned. But I think it also depends on the driver itself too. Some drivers are very bright on axis, and some are very soft on axis. Some play better off axis (usually the bright ones I just talked about) than others. Its really a matter of testing. Best way to do that is get your power set up, and you yourself sit in the driver seat, and have someone aim the tweets or drivers at your ears. Driver side to left ear, passenger side to right side ear. Once you get it where you like the sound, remember that angle and then you start your building.

The more narrow the sound (i.e. tweeters and mid ranges) the more accurate it has to be. The wider the sound (i.e. mid bass and sub) the less direct it needs to be.

Confused yet? Then you're on the right track! LOL! It all comes down to what sounds best to you at what angle. Anything beyond that is pretty much a matter of opinion unless you're competing in an SQ class. At that point, I bid you good luck cause there's some real serious shit out there! Nice stuff!

My old wheels are 17x7 and I think like et 42

New ones are 17x8 et 30 with the 15mm spacer ill be 17x8 et 15 in the back

When I installed them I never checked how they would sound. I also have a minor hearing loss so how I tune shit is different than what most people will want.

That being said, after I installed them, I tested and tuned my amps for hours with help changing gains and crossover points, adjusting axis etc. I don't have time alignment so I'm not going to bounce my tweeters off the windshield so if I ever do an SQ build it will be built to how I like it lol. Personally I do not care about an sq metal, well I would if I had another vehicle that I could specifically build for that.

Haha no more drop!!! That picture is with my system out. I can stand my phone on my front lip. My car is 3 inch at the lowest point and 4 at front lip and 3.1 in the rear at the exhaust. I can't even go over speed bumps as it is.

I'd like to get coils and drop it to 1-2 inches all around and have bags on top on the coils so I can adjust on the fly.

Ya I forgot we were talking about those bag over coils on my other thread. I've pretty close to have that figured out by the way! Still pricey, like $1700.00, but most of that cost is the air management system. But with purchasing the bag over coil set up, it's like almost triple that cost! EFFFFFFF that noise!

You should get coils though. I like mine. I have buddy club N+ specs. Version 1's though. They changed the hats on them or something in the second version. Adjustable ride height, adjustable ride dampening, and just a better ride overall. What do you have now again? Just springs?

And those wheels right there are the ones I love. Those look sick! In that pic your car does look lower and less wheel gap, unlike the pic I said before. So I'm sure it's just the light of the picture.

Xxr super stretch concave. Stupidly "hellaflush" lol loved it for the time I had em tho. They're 18x10 et 20. I think I stretched a 215/40/18 on it haha.

I had them when they were all sold out. Now you can buy a set for like 600.

The rotiforms I have now are 1300 bucks lol

Ill take some more pictures haha. I liked those a lot just a pain being flush and such a hard ride. I'm actually riding lower with these rims bc they are 17's over the older 18's.

I'm on eibach sport lines 2 inch drop all around after it settles in I'm dropped to about 2.2 inches

I'm experiencing that now. I have Varrstoen ES2's on Falken 215/35/18's on my civic. The ride is terrible right now. Hard as hell. I've got my dampers set at the softest setting. Part of why I want bags. I love my wheels, and the the way she sits now, but I would love to improve the ride quality and it's my understanding that bags will do this. But I also have to determine how long I'm going to have her before I spend the money on bagging it. We're looking at a Jetta Sportwagen right now. That shit WILL be bagged for sure at some point!
