Hunter, I've got a suggestion for you for the fabric for them little pods. I do pods with "thermal" fabric. Go to Walmart, get u a couple of them long sleeved "thermal" shirts with cheapo logos silkscreened on them. The shirts are about 5 bucks each. That thermal fabric is SOOOOO stretchy. And, since it has all those little thermal pockets in it, the fabric holds the resin SUPER well. You can stretch that stuff and tack it or glue it and it's ready for resin. I also use Hot Glue for attaching the cloth for the little pods. It's easier for me. These are just the things I do that work well for me. As for the PlastiDip, it's a great option. Go to Dipyourcar.com to see vids of all sorts of things and colors they've dipped. They sell a special spray that's formulated to get a really good grip with the Dip. I've got a friend who we just dipped his car matte white, and have done his rims and emblems bronze. The dip is easy, if you do it right. And, when you're done, it peels off quite nicely. DONT SAND!

good Idea I'll check it out. I thnk I know what kinda fabric youre talking about.

I actually have been using a super stretchyy grill cloth to glass and resin kinda like panty hoes, then I glass the inside so the outside is pretty much ready and finished to be wrapped or painted after a layer of body filler
