This thing is looking great! thank you very much UPDATE: i have everything i need on its way to me now. i have the axle now which is working on being rebuilt and the parts should be here decently soon. i am working on opening up some of my time a few weekends in a row to install the lift and other shit. should be DONE by mid august from what i know now. Note: SAS-001 kit will work with the newer Chevy 98-08 platform as well. Please check frame width across inside rails, at the approximate center of the transmission. skyhighcaraudio Posted August 6, 2012 Author Report Posted August 6, 2012 sorry about the delay. shop is now up and running and under control so its time for the truck again. we have been swamped with other people shit for the last few months so thats good and we built some pretty cool stuff. maybe ill start a thread of all the work we have done lately and just update it as we do more cool stuff. i started on the door panels today they are gonna be beast and some things have changed but ill put some pics up tomorrow. i have gotten everything i need for the lift and it got started tonight. it will be done by next monday and rolling down the road by next weekend after i can get the driveshafts and brake lines made next week. should be pretty big lol and the mids and highs are going to be awesome also. we are building completely custom door panels from and rear. the window and lock controls will be moves to the console now since there is no room for anything else in the doors lol the doors will also be on poppers as of now because there is no more rool for handles either. the screens will not be in the front doors as promised before due to other items being there instead which i will put pics up of tomorrow once there is a bit more work done on those. everything is out of the truck except batteries i have a few new plans for that so its literally a wall and a seat in there. ill make a vid when the lifts done and show the inside of the truck. also on a side note when the head liner came out the center upper console had literally been ripped off the roof by the bass so we will be welding some supports up there to replace the structural support the upper console gave the roof. so that was interesting to see i guess...theres some work to do to make sure the roof doesnt rip off when the subs and amps go back in. stay tuned for pics tomorrow.
