knockin'hoe97 Posted December 11, 2011 Report Posted December 11, 2011 and this one deserves its own spot lol. hooked everything up and couldn't figure out for the life of me why and the world it wouldnt come on...i could touch ignition and constant and it would turn on but it just didnt click to me why it wouldnt come on normally lol. i made a quick phone call to realize how simple my problem was lol. the new headunit pulled a lil more power than the stock one so it blew the fuse and i had to up the fuse by 5 amps lol...2 hours of me being stubborn and trying to figure it out haha and a couple min phone call saved the day lol...works perfect now

CJ18 Posted December 11, 2011 Author Report Posted December 11, 2011 This one should get quite loud. I am hoping to see a 148+ out of this to start with. The one thing that will hold it back from getting that 150, is that the subs are D2 and can only be strapped at 2ohms. Somewhere down the line this should see a dc5k and get wired down to .5ohm.
knockin'hoe97 Posted December 11, 2011 Report Posted December 11, 2011 well i got a stinger voltmeter and decided to go ahead and hook it up i had taken a photo when i finished it but when i came to upload photos it wasn't on my phone so i had to run back outside and take a pic...camera doesn't have flash so its hard to tell but the dash is back together with the voltmeter mounted...will probably take another pic tomorrow when there is daylight so you can see more than the small circle where the flashlight was aimed lol
knockin'hoe97 Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 my brother came by so i got to use a window crank remover haha...can finally say i've used one lol...but yea i messed with his car for a lil bit but figured i'd show a pic for the unique little tool well this is where i plan to run the 1/0 gauge up through at...its gonna run from front and come up underneath the passenger rear seat first hole drilled and second whole drilled...sry again for the poor lighting. it starts getting dark kinda early around here bought a new ipod cable cuz my old one was in really bad condition lol...not sure if you can see but the bare wire is exposed haha oh and on the subject of bought things...got some grommets on the way and some different speaker adaptors for the front door. the first ones i bought for the front door didnt work. didnt really fit the door and on top of the the cutout was way to small for my 6.5", so i am trying a different kind to see if they work...soon as they come in i can have the front doors done and back together
