JasonJones Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 So I'm looking into getting a new truck(currently have an 01 Expedition). I am really loving everything about the new style Suburbans and can find 07-08's relatively cheap and want to know what everyone's thoughts are on it. 1) I know it is a gas guzzler but it will definitely get better mileage than I do now(10.2MPG). 2) I have also heard things about it burning through oil, has anyone had this or heard of it? Also please post if you think there are other similar options with seating for 5 and enough room for a good system. Thanks! Quote

I've never had any problems burning through oil That's actually REALLY great to hear because I have been looking at the Silverados and all I ever see is people bitching about burning a quart every 2k miles.
