nickfs442 Posted December 14, 2011 Report Share Posted December 14, 2011 Hey guys.. its like 1 AM and im not even tired. Right now I work for dish network, well a company contracted through them. I make decent money, but I work long ass hours and I hate it. I want to get home at a decent time every night.. I have to get up at 4:30 on wednesdays and go to our meetings, which right now I should be sleeping. I do the whole install most of the time for people, could do 4 jobs or just 2 a day. I could get home at 4:30 or 9:30.. I only work 4 days a week, but they go by so fast it doesnt even seem like a 3 day weekend. I'm mainly looking for a hands-on job, without losing too much if any pay around 13.50/hour. My future goal is to work for Alliant Energy, or be a UPS driver. I would love to have a driving job, but most of those jobs are truckers.. and thats not me. P.S. I'm only 19. Thanks for the help, if others have problems with their jobs, feel free to post. See Ya! sqsux Posted December 14, 2011 Report Share Posted December 14, 2011 i would love a better job, hard when everyone wants 6months+ of prior experience... so you can't get any experience. i've been busing for two years at the same place, make 170+ a week off of ~16 hours between min wage and my tip share. i hate the work though... scraping plates Quote Start out boxy, shape as you move along.
