carshateme Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 Okay, I've been building boxes for 3 years and been using mdf wood the whole time...so I'm thinking about advancing towards Fiberglass boxes...so I need to know what brand is the best for fiber glassing. slamingGP Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 I would just stick to mdf. They sound a lot better then fiber glass. Yes they might look a little more flashy but if your want to try something try birch I have heard they are some solid boxes.
CLNFREAK Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 i use this boat yard resin i get it at ace hardware (free shipping to a store).... they dont carry it on the shelf (they carry bondo junk) ... but they can order it for ya I use all evercoat products... rage body filler is great stuff... you will never use bondo again trust me some A pillars I built

Both make quality resin, just stay away from that bondo shit.
