CHEVY4X4BLAZER
hi guys. I have a 50 inch dlp and out of nowhere I start having problems. I was watching TV in the morning. I turned it off as I left for work. Get home later and turn it on.. the picture never comes up and I only hear it buzzing from the back as it is priming the TV for activation. (Which is normal) it tried 3 time and then 3 LEDs begin flashing. Google says that the lamp may have failed. I removed the lamp and it looks fine No discoloring or damage. I reassembled the part and tried again. Nothing. So I go to bed. Next morning I turn it on and it tries and fails to produce the picture. I left it on while I looked for information and the picture pops up. Perfectly fine. No blotchy spots. I turned it off and then back on about a minute layer with no problems. This morning it took an extra minute or so to activate. Picture still good. Came home from work and no dice. It refused to work and I got the same error code. The next morning I try again. Katt
I had the same exact problem with my toshiba. I would bet it is the bulb in yours.. It was in mine. When it blows, you will hear a loud pop. Make sure you don't delay on turning the tv off or unplugging it. When you buy a new bulb, if you choose. I'd suggest taking the back off too, and blowing out the inside. Just to be sure. LoudBimmer
one of the blocks in your TV went out. Might as well buy a new TV.

LoudNLow931
The humming is from the color wheel. I used to have the same TV and we had to replace the color wheel about 12 times the bulb about 8 and the a few other things. When we sold it it was starting to go again, had a blue like smoke affect going across the bottom of the screen. Samsung dlps = junk...
