My trunk was way more solid and the bass was alot cleaner. It deff helped out my lows alot too. And it was pretty cheap too. 92 bucks shipped to my door. Im sure higher quality brands would be even more noticeable but I was on a budget subwoofers - two eclipse 88120s box - 3.4 cubes tuned to 32 hz amps - aq1200 and pheonix gold zx450 New build : 2 obsidian audio 15s same amp 6.1 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz in a civic hatch

What it can do is help use what you have more efficiently where you may be losing sound or pressure. There have also been examples of many people scoring lower with their vehicles deadened. Fat Mat is NOT the same as Dynamat and if you're not getting a good price, there are many other options out there better. SecondSkin is a vendor on the site, and that is for a reason. Check out their section. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
