n8ball2013
I have never sat in SQ car, so a set of aftermarket components is SQ for me. As far as "SQ" goes, it's the most used term when reffering to upgrading your mids and highs. If you ever get the chance you really need to try it. Its pretty amazing. ALPINE408
you have 2 choices when it comes to systems LOUD or SQ you cant have both you can be loud and clear and pa speakers can do that but thats not SQ and to loudbimmer an 8 with a 6 1/2 would not be good for SQ it would be good for loud but not SQ Quote Have you ever had your woofers blown? LoudBimmer
I'm not looking for SQ, but something to keep up with bass without having distortion. I'm still planning out custom doors. I'm really looking for more midrange and highs with some lows when subs are off . My stock system came with 6.5 , 2.5 and tweeter with 3 way crossover. Sounded good at high volume, until I replaced HU. Edited December 27, 2011 by LoudBimmer

I already have 6.5's tweeters and super tweeters. All I need is 8's and more crossovers.
tonytone4143
everyone has ther thoughts on sq. id get a comp set personally. what part o florida u in?im in palm coast I LIVE WEST OF TAMPA. TARPON SPRINGS I will doing glassed door with 3 way system (8" mid 6.5 woofer and tweeter) along with super tweeter in each front door. Also in BMW. THIS IS AWESOME What are you looking for as far as SQ? LOUD AND CLEAR, WITH NO DISTORTION I have never sat in SQ car, so a set of aftermarket components is SQ for me. NEITHER HAVE I. As far as "SQ" goes, it's the most used term when reffering to upgrading your mids and highs. I AGREE. I'm not looking for SQ, but something to keep up with bass without having distortion. BUT I THINK THIS MIGHT BE AN OVER KILL??
