tonytone4143
Hi, I am new to the sq seen. I have a 2002 5 series BMW. My question is would I get better sound quality out of 2 10 ev's glasses into my front door panels with 1 super tweeter per door panel? Or just go with a component set like the fosgate t2's?? I want it loud and clean. Thanks in advance. Tony
n8ball2013
if you are thinking of running PA gear you arent thinking of doing an SQ car. seeing as how you are from florida im guessing you want the street battle type stuff without going over the top. EclipseChris
Can we stop throwing the term SQ around like you people actually know what your talking about? n8ball2013
this is an sq car. albeit world class sq car http://www.enjoythemusic.com/garybiggs.htm and another http://caraudiomag.com/pictures-1691 its based on imaging and sounding great at low levels. if you've never sat in an SQ car try it. Its a very cool experience. PA speakers do not lend to a SQ setup. they are loud and clear at high volume. When an SQ car is doing their run they arent trying to be as loud as possible. they are trying to blend and accurately reproduce the sound. its funny that people can be into car audio and not know what it truly means to have a sound quality setup. EclipseChris
What difference does it make? Its annoying to the people who spend the time and money to do real SQ. When i spend hours tuning and thousands on mids/highs just for people to ask why their PA speakers arn't good for SQ when they are using those bass blockers and are screwed to a piece of wood they duct taped to their pillars. Or when they ask how to get the best SQ from their 3 18s on 9k because they just bought a pair of CDT comps and want to compete in SQ. /rant Quote i resolve to be a nicer moderator. LoudBimmer
I have never sat in SQ car, so a set of aftermarket components is SQ for me. As far as "SQ" goes, it's the most used term when reffering to upgrading your mids and highs.

As far as "SQ" goes, it's the most used term when reffering to upgrading your mids and highs. Well SQ is not a relative term. People have spent hours determining exactly what is best in a car sound system and many others have spent exponentially more time perfecting it. As far as "SQ" goes, its the most incorrectly used term on this entire forum. Ps. Some stock audio systems from manufactures like chevy and i think fiat are coming out with competition winning SQ performance. Quote i resolve to be a nicer moderator. Tercel build R.I.P.
