icecold Posted December 28, 2011 Report Posted December 28, 2011 so i have a 2001 reg cab silverado and just bought a 15 in. sub. im trying to think of the best way to design the box. as of right now i have just a regular looking box style ported box with a alphasonik 12 in it as my center console. if i remember correct its at right around 2.5cft. i wanna get around 3 or more out of my new box. was thinking about maybe doing a rear firing setup with the port facing foward. not sure if it sound work out so well tho. any thoughts or advice?
dolarbilz Posted December 28, 2011 Report Posted December 28, 2011 I did a single 10 firing down with a port forward on 1000 watts.center consule box.sounded great! I would probably stick with a 12 easier to work with..maybe look for something that can take more power..what amp you have now?
icecold Posted December 28, 2011 Author Report Posted December 28, 2011 On my current setup i have a alphasonik 1000.1 or 900.1 cant remember. But im picking up a dc5k for my 15. Im gonna try to make it work but not sure how i wanna design the box yet
