no. 7 - 7.5 cubes for all isnt bad. the manufacturer recommendation is just a starting point. i perosnally would agree and go 7- 7.5 cubes

Really ? You think my CVR's wouldn't have a problem being in a box that big ? And 33hz isn't too low for em ?

Current setup in my 96 Hoe

Hu - Pioneer DEH-80prs.

Amps - (4) Crossfire C5 1700D's, MTX Thunder 5604(mids), PPI Art 300.2 (tweets)

Batts - 4 91ah rear batts, 50ah batt up front.

Subs - 2 Crossfire XSv2 18's

Alt - Singer 330A

Front stage - Random JL & Eclipse mids, Eclipse tweets

yea you should be fine. personally id stick closer to 7 but not much less. 7 sounds good. it will be an efficinet box. just make sure oyu know your songs and possibly have subsonic on

i had 2 of these subs and they were WAY beyond broken in and my god they hit the lows real nice i had em in a box tuned to 32 Hz they had 2.25 cuft each im pretty sure. the port was 3" wide 14" deep if i remember correctly

Yeah I'm lookin' for a all around box, somethin that sounds good with the lows and can play everything else. I had 2 in a shitty pre-fab ported box and they were decently loud, but I know they could get waaay louder. And I figured I'd buy a third. Haha

Yeah I'm lookin for more musical. And max ported for my 3 CVR's would be 6.75. So that box is a little too big. But thank you all the same !

Okay, but I can assure you this is by far the most musical box I have built yet. This box was built for music and hairtricks, not numbers.
