prefab box tuning?

I have a premade box laying around, it is 1.88 cubes but the port is weird. It has a divider down the middle, each port starts at 1" wide, 10"tall. At the back it is 4" wide by 10.75" tall. I have made a few boxes, understand it pretty well, but i have always made the port the same width. How do you calculate the tuning for this?

Id like to know also. When I made my first box I did the same. Had no ideas the "hole"(what I used to call it) had anthing to do with how it sounds. Well it came out pritty good gets loud yet theres some songs where not much bass is picked up and others where its sounds wierd and mines the same as yours where it curves it wider

I know how to design boxes with aero ports or slot ports, but The ports have only had one width.

Calculate the 1" x 10" area. The 4" wide section is there to control loading and shouldn't affect your tuning too much... Maybe drop by a cycle or two.

The best non-really-scientific way I found to find your tuning frequency is to play a series of tones at different frequencies until you see that your subs are moving the least but still putting out a lot of volume. Your subs will seem like they're not moving and almost all the bass will come from the port.
