LT1Roadmaster
If everything was working correctly before the battery change then its defiantly the battery. Double check the connections and make sure Its fully charged.
bhirst
When checking your connections I'd also make sure they are clean and secured properly. SPL Blazer
had a friend swap his battery and it did the same thing, the connections looked good and his battery was at 12.6, but wouldn't start the car. Turned out the connection at the terminal wasn't tight enough. Took it off and reinstalled the wires and it started right up. 95legwagon
clean both terminals also with a terminal brush. sounds like a bad connection if your sittin @ 12.5v ...... my car starts sittin @ 11.2v and i would take a look at where the wire connects to the terminals too..... corrosion would do it. just had a car come in at work (88 mercury marquis) was sold to us CHEAP "not running" i messed with it and found out the wire from the pos. terminal to the starter solenoid was shot ( 1 ft wire) so i jumped it from the solenoid and it started right up. work FTW. not trying to thread jack lol just showing how something so stupid can cause this. good luck Quote i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit.
