CaPRiCEx383
You should have more space. Drop down the height a bit and try to get more depth. Subs up port back would work well. You can also try aero ports to save space. I put 4 12"s in my 86 caprice in 6 cubes and i didn't like it, I'd say shoot for 8 cubes minimum. Bump4life
that ^^^ aeros take less space. subs up port back is good. jeremiejohnson23
So how long do they have to be? Or does that even matter with aeros
I am Poncho
okay yea sorry i just used your max space and posted without my $0.02 yes box is way too small for 4 12" ported. as has been said. now i do like 12s sealed they can get loud and sound really nice doing so. but you HAVE to be perfectly sealed. meaning if you were to push on your cone(s) and hold it there for a a while no air should escape. ive seen alot of guys destroy subs by leaky boxes. one of the nicest trunk builds i heard were 2 mtx7500 12s in about 3.75 sealed. go figure. so if you built your box sealed and braced it properly and got a perfect seal. i think you will be very surprised with how loud they are. the way i see it, thats the only way your going to play all 4 of those without a crazy box design or heavily modifying your trunk space. i would use as much room as you have subs facing up double baffle. with at minimum 3 rod braces(wood dowels 0r threaded rod work well, but threaded rod a little harder to get sealed-not impossible though) 2 front to back and 1 top to bottom did i miss anything?
