EricM9104
the amp install is a slam in those all you need to do to pulll out the deck is to pull on the whole pease where the radio is at alright... and there's an opening towards the tranny hump for me to run rcas down by there right?? another question, is there an existing grommet in the firewall to run 4ga or 8ga wire through?? i wish he had his truck here, that way i wouldn't be asking so many damn questions. lol Quote 2015 Honda Civic LX 4dr | 24k miles Stock H/U and mids/highs Power Acoustik GW3-12" D2 Sub HiFonics BXX1200.1D @ 1ohm Random 2.5^3' dual ported box NVX LOC Stinger wiring throughout 1977 Chevy SWB Cammed 350 Dual exhaust Cheap Wish stereo
m&c caraudio
for the power theres a gromet on the passanger side it dont look like one you have to pull it out from the in side it looks big but once you take it out its only enough to fit a 8 ga. wire though
EricM9104
Heh.... Rampage 500w PEAK amp... 2 MTX 10s, 10ga wire.... Got RCAs in (barely). Couldn't figure out how to pop the head-unit out.. Alls that's left to do is, wire the remote turn-on wire, run power wire, get some 10ga butt connectors (fuse block is weird) cause i can't figure out how to get one end disconnected. It's looped together..... Would have gotten more done tonight but don't have a shop and ran out of light.... m&c caraudio
on that fuse holder you need to cut the loop one side goes to the amp the other to the battery \ for the radio you just need to pull on it

Thank god it's a cheaper head-unit with 1 pre-amp out. *i hope* Tomorrow we'll probably be forced to get it out to hook up the remote wire... EricM9104
Uhhh.... I don't think he has those "keys" to take the head-unit out... The strips of metal you slide in on each side of it and pull it out... Could I just use a butter knife on each side and pull out the head-unit??
