scooter99
Thanks. That's what this site is for, or at least I thought. I just try to help out as much as I can. Keep up the good work man. Love the way you did the box btw. I need to go back and look at how you put it all together etc. Just so I have a better understanding on what you did. But I love how you finished it. I'd love to get a bed cover so I didn't have to use the tool box. It would be nice to sell it and use the money somewhere else. But, I may not have a choice for now. OrangeJuiced
Got some updates guys. like 27 pictures. So i am starting my doors here soon and decided to get some practice. I started on afro bass's door pods just for practice. here they are. wrapped in fleece. coated in resin Speakers in for comp. Then brought them back for carpeting. these door pods will only be used for a couple months, so we didn't put much time and effort into them, but they look really good. Then I ordered this baby and got her today. So I decided to start my doors. I planned on getting a lot further tonight, but the stupid tweeter pods were giving me trouble so I called it a night. 6.5" 8" 4 6.5" All rings. Then I brad nailed them to some wood so I could cut out the center. Great fit! 2001 GMC Sierra Build. Body dropped and Juiced
OrangeJuiced
So I did some messing around with the rings to test where I want them and what not. Think I found a good place for them. Just need to finish the tweeter pods and then they'll be wrapped in fleece and resined. Good positioning? I figured with the break I could get some input. These are my first full door panels. I know all the body work and paint, just wanna make sure the positioning looks good. couple other random things. This stuff made my steering wheel an awesome mirror Charging very good with the alt. Still need a digital voltmeter. I'm waiting on steves really. And a couple of her in the garage. 2001 GMC Sierra Build. OrangeJuiced
made quite a bit of progress today. These are turning out really good. I need more fleece and resin though. I cut out the door panel so the speakers could fit in there. Then I glued my tweeter pods in place. Still need to order the 8's. Working this weekend so I can afford them. I started replicating the rings to match the other door panel. It consist of a lot of moving and measuring. Then I started wrapping one panel in fleece and didn't have enough for the other one. That's definitely not butter. and she's resined. going to add mat and more resin maybe tomorrow. Got a long ways to go, but I'd like to get the 8's before doing all the body work and paint. Also got my sliding rag recovered and installed. Looks way better black. 2001 GMC Sierra Build. Body dropped and Juiced
