For now i have a HDC315 and zx1000.1 on the way. and some wire, a pioneer premier DEH-P690UB and a Kinetik hc1400

tacomabanga1986 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 Oh what kind of wire should i use to redo the radio wires? u dont really halfto if u dont want to i hooked up a jvc cdplayer in my bro in laws s10 blazer when someone stole the radio that was in it n all i did was cut the factory wires, take a test 12v light n ground it n play around with the wires to see what is 12v, acc, and gnd, i think the redorange lookin is acc, yellow 12v, and the blk ground, and for speakers the take a d size battery and hook it up to the wires to see wut speaker they go do and run off of that, usally the darker the color is pos and the one with the dark stripe down it is neg thats how i did his and it worked out fine, i think the grey is for ilumination(to make it light up when ur headlights are on) but a 12v test light is a must and there pritty cheap at walmart, and if ur just gunna redo all the wire ied go with 16-14guage for speakers and 16-12guage for power, acc and ground thats what i do, ied get some of the single wire they got at walmart n work off of that, hope this helps and nice lookin truck here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit
