SINTORMAN
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_32990_Hifonics-Colossus.html is it this colossus? running too low of load could be an issue too Yup, that's it. I'm pretty sure I wire'd it to 1 ohm, unless a wire got messed up from the port. I'd have to check with a DMM wouldn't I? Yeah dude, it's one of the 'essentials' of car audio I know.. I know. I keep forgetting to go buy one. If you are running it bridged then it has to be at 2 ohms.....
SpawnZ
you wired it bridged 1ohm? or 1ohm per channel? Ugh... Good question, I'm thinking I bridged it actually. Left + channel 1 to Right - Channel 2. Probably the problem...

SpawnZ
And now that I look into it, the btl's are dual 2 ohm subs. According to this webby, http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp?submitted=true&woofer_qty=2&woofer_imp=3 I may have wired them down to .5 ohm. Uh oh.
