i edited my post and added wiring diagram (a shitty one)

edit: if you use bolts, treat each coil as a single bolt ( use 16 bolts) and wire just like the diagram.

yes thats right Joe but use both negitives on master to both negitives on slave like ^ he said.
You tried to help, yet ended up asking more questions than OP. If you don't know, don't tell considering these are a couple of high dollar amplifiers, leave it to those who own them, or work with them.:peepwall:

so you came in here just to say that to me ? hhhmmm. well at LEAST i tried to help and didn't insult someone. and i never said go do this for sure. I was just suggesting things and bringing up questions so if Joe had anymore than he could get an answer as well without asking. two birds (two people with same question). one stone (asking once).

Ed lester showed me, and It actually helped my score, to wire the coils in parallel, and the subs themselves in series. find his vid on youtube describing it, and the reasons, but the amperage and voltage changes in the coils when in parallel.

If this is true, anyway. My electronics classes have taught me it has merit to it.

ANYWAY, would also work. \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/

This make you happy Mike? Two replies to my one post = whoring.

Im so confused when it comes to wiring lol. Like this then?

wire2-1.jpg

no, see how one pair is only getting the slave amp, and the other pair is only getting the master amp? That would essentially mean you hooked a pair of subs up to a negative, and not the positive, aka, no sub movement at all.

no, see how one pair is only getting the slave amp, and the other pair is only getting the master amp? That would essentially mean you hooked a pair of subs up to a negative, and not the positive, aka, no sub movement at all.

Also, how the top left sub is wired, the coils would be arguing, ie, pushing the opposite way of the other coil, which in turn would mean fried subs, due to lots of power going through the coils, in opposite directions, no movement = no cooling.

The sub would vibrate a little in this configuration (if the needed jumpers were added) but they would ultimately die.

EDIT: The terminals next to each other are the same coil, so put a jumper from the negative terminal on the left most voice coil, to the positive terminal on the right hand coil.

instead of doing positive post to negative post on one sub do pos to neg from sub 1 to sub 2 and pos to neg from sub 3 to sub 4 then you will have 2 sets of 2 subs. then pick one sub from each set. sSAY sub 1 and 2. and connect a positive terminal to a negative terminal . thats how the diagrams are.

wire2-2.jpg

this one will work.
