emperorjj1
damplifier products and spectruim/sludge dampen vibrations overkill/pro is used to get rid of plastic rattles or squeaks heatwave/pro is used as a thermal agent with acoustic filtering Lux liner pro is a barrier product used to block sound Lux liner in combination with overkill makes llp... i guess the only reason for lux liner is to make thinner LLP if u cant fit it (using standard overkill) or with no foam at all Quote J. Second Skin Rep Jon
Emp pretty much covered it. Regular Luxury Liner is just the mass loaded vinyl without a foam decoupler attached. AND it is thicker and heavier than the vinyl layer on Luxury Liner Pro. We offer it so that it can be used in conjunction with OverKill or OverKill Pro to create your own barrier. Also some people prefer to have the foam and barrier separate for a cleaner install. What are you trying to achieve? Chances are your panels are pretty much dead and your next step is to eliminate any rattles and squeaks and/or reduce the overall noise level inside the car. Quote Have a question about Second Skin? Second Skin Rep Jon
Ok if you're looking for some more sound deadener, then Damp or Damp Pro would be in order. The difference between them is total thickness/butyl content. Damplifier Pro has a little more than twice as much butyl as Damplifier, 73.5 mils vs. 33.5 mils. Both sport our ultra thick and super sexy 6.5 mil black foil. I want something simliar to the audio technix mostly for my trunk. also whats difference between damplifier and dam pro? Second Skin Rep Jon
You can, but we can't guarantee the performance of the product if installed over another brand. Quote Have a question about Second Skin? E-Mail me!

Second Skin Rep Jon
oh shit i never knew that damn u been holding out on me the thick mlv? Na, we weren't holding out on ya. Most people just don't pay attention of the specs. LLP with the foam weighs in around 1.2 lbs. per sq foot, whereas LL alone is 1.25 lbs. per sq. foot., it's not a HUGE difference, but it is a difference. Quote Have a question about Second Skin?
