lagexe
This will be a later project, but I wanted to get educated on the basics, and hardware now. I hear a lot of people talking about brackets to mount an additional Alternator. Do I need one? If so, where do I buy, or is this something I need to make? Is there a better/easier way to do it? I'll ask more questions as I know to ask them. At the moment, I have many.
bass_stalker
you need a bracket, you could get an adjustable voltage module if you want, extra runs of charge and ground and an adaptor harness to run both alts Quote JEEP BUILD PROJECT ANTIBLING.2000 jeep Cherokee.HEADUNITAlpine Cda-9886SUBSTAGE1 acendent 18" audio mayhem motor with a TI basket and tantric parts1 prototype DAT hellfire 1000.1HIGHSStockELECTRICALdb link 0 gaugeKnuconceptz Kolossus 4 gauge1 xs power d3400 under hoodBig 3 upgradeold fourwheeler build The only way to delete your SMD account is for you crawl to steve meades door step on your knees and pleade for his forgiveness and acceptance to be released...He will either grant your wishes.....or choke you with a large piece of 0 gauge and electrocute you by hooking up a solid gold DC 12k at 0.000001 ohm and 10000 volts to your eye sockets and blow your head apart You guys act like you have never clogged a toilet and ran around the bathroom frantically hoping it don't overflow. But, see it here so maybe I can get my answered. Can it be another alt wiring harness spliced into the other one? Or is that a bad idea? basshead8569
not a problem hopefully the info can help both of you guys out, just remember it may be slightly different on all vehicles yea my 03 focus has pretty much no room and my alt in at the bottom. So, that is going to be a challenge. But, for my little system now my mechman 220amp alt seems to be doing its job.
