  1. Nothing better then being an injured United States Marine and helping young kids that want to be in the Military. Or just need an buddy to talk too.

  2. sorry dont know how to post like the others On your video that you want to post from youtube, click the share tab below it, copy and paste that link here.
  3. Amp kept cutting out. Ended up going out at the end. video I posted before this one is after fixing it.
  4. Kenwood ddx-470 ddin screen, Kenwood Performance series 1,800 watt amp, 2 kicker dcvr 12" subs (kicker preloaded box) rockford fosgate punch 6X8 interiors with factory tweeters (waiting for rockford fosgate to get the punch tweeters in at my shop)
  5. New ride. New build.

  6. I think that it is wrong to be a full time installer and now barely make $170 a week for 40 hours. Need a new job.

No commission. 7.40$ An hour. Taxes are high. Why I'm trying to find a second or better job.

  7. I liked my xs power d3100 I believe the model was. Worked better then my optima yellow top I have now. Wish I never sold it. But needed money.
  8. Working 62.5 hours a week. Busy as hell. Car starters and alarms are big right now. Little early then usual. Not many system set-ups. Odd.

Bringing in the money...thats what counts.  I hate wiring alarms with a passion though

I Hate it too. But, the money is great. Commission installer. Through more I do the more I get paid. If I'm doing a lot now. I'm hoping the alarm and remote start season is not slow.

      The more*** stupid auto correct.

  9. I have some rockford fosgate power t1 6X9 in my garage. 2 pairs of them and 2 rockford fosgate t2 12" subs on there own amp and breaker. Now if you are doing a huge area then I would stick with home speakers. For my 2 1/2 car garage, it is enough.
  10. Sorry took so long to reply back. I got a new one. And re-ran everything. And knocking on wood. Been weeks and working better then ever. Thanks everyone for the info. Mechman is amazing at helping the customer. Glad I did not listen to those that kept saying switch to another brand. That mechman is useless. I beg the differ.
  11. The alt did not come with any ring terminals. And when I put in the second one I did option 2 on a diagram that an admin here posted on someone elses post. Which is the way you posted. I just got the new one in the mail today and I ran it this way. Which is how I was taught and was told to wire on here. Alternator Charging Wire: Replace the positive charging wire that connects the vehicles alternator to the positive car battery post. Engine Ground: Replace the cable that connects the engine ground to the vehicle’s chassis. Battery Negative: Replace the cable that travels from the negative car battery post to the vehicles’s chassis And the computer and all the electrical is new and nothing wrong with it. I replaced it myself. So, I know it is right. Even double checked it.
  12. What I did when I was having major voltage drops. But, it is a new optima yellow top.
  13. Grounded to the frame. I think it was you that posted a diagram on someone elses page about alts. I used that to do mine. Just to make sure I did it right. Alternator Charging Wire: Replace the positive charging wire that connects the vehicles alternator to the positive car battery post. Engine Ground: Replace the cable that connects the engine ground to the vehicle’s chassis. Battery Negative: Replace the cable that travels from the negative car battery post to the vehicles’s chassis This is part of that diagram.
  14. The stock alt has been on for 3 days. I ran the stock 110amp stock alt for almost 6 months before I got a mechman h/o alt. And I have 2 of the rockford fosgate power t1500-1bd. Continuous 1500 watts and so they say number 1 in amps and in energy efficient. I think when my new alt comes in I am going to do a complete system tear out and re-do. Or just put the alt in and test the alt in multiple different settings.
