They control what frequencies go the Speakers, if you have a HPF then it is not designed for subs. c.director Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 If it's going to the sub, set the switch to LPF (it looks like it is) Set the frequency somewhere between 80 and 100 hz (to your liking) and be sure not to set the gain too high (the level) Probably not above half way, since it's a pyle) and the Bass eq, i guess is a bass boost, also don't go much above half way. Those are some safe settings. You can do some research and learn how to set it properly, which I highly suggest.
